Our Services for a Work Permit application are as the follows:

Process 1: Providing legal advice regarding legally work and live in Thailand.
Process 2:

Preparing an application of work permit, draft an Employment Letter to describe about how necessary to hire the Applicant in the specified position (Job Description) and assembly all supporting document. After receiving all complete requirements of documents including all necessary information from the Applicant, and the prospective employer as specified in details below, we may take only about 1-2 days process for applying.

Remark: 1. All documents in foreign language require to be translated into Thai language and certified a true and original document by the Applicant’s country Embassy before applying.
  2. Applicant needs to provide information about education background & work experience, and sign on the application. All supporting documents need to be signed and affix the company seal (if any) to certify true copies by the prospective employer on every single page as well.
Process 3:
Submitting a work permit application at the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, or one stop services in Bangkok (as the case may be). The Department of Employment will issue a receipt stating your return date for receiving work permit book.
Process 4:

Following-up the official consideration. A typical time frame for approval work permit takes approximately 7-15 business days if applying at the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. BOI approved companies, or some occupation; such expertise or management level of a high registered capital companies may take about three (3) hours processing times at the One Stop Service Center.

Remark:   During the consideration of work permit process, please be concerned about your last date of “Extension of Stay” (specified in the last arrival stamped by the Immigration officer) in the Kingdom of Thailand, otherwise you might need to go abroad to get a new “Non-Immigrant” visa again.
Process 5:

After a work permit has been granted, the Applicant must appear in person at the Department of Employment together with a valid Non-Immigrant visa, and have a signature on the work permit book in the presence of the Department of Employment officer. The Department of Employment will put an official stamp at the back of passport at the time of receipt.

Remark: 1. Applicant need to bring an original passport and a copy of valid Non-Immigrant visa, and arrival stamp.

In case of a prospective employer applied work permit for an employee in advance prior to entering Thailand, the employee need to provide a recent Medical Certificate from a first-class licensed physician in Thailand (stated that the employee is not of unsound mind and not suffering from leprosy, acute tuberculosis, elephantiasis, narcotic addition or habitual alcoholism).
